MCP v1.7What's new

Give your agent a commerce layer

Connect once to discover products, compare live offers, buy or hand off checkout, and track orders across thousands of merchants.

Pick a setup path

Paste one prompt, or configure your client by hand.

Paste one prompt

Works in any agent that can run a command on your machine: OpenClaw, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Hermes. Your agent adds the server and signs itself up.

  1. 1Copy the prompt and paste it into your agent
  2. 2It adds the MCP server, registers your identity keeping the private key on your machine, and installs the Conduit Skill
  3. 3Some clients need a restart before the tools appear
  4. 4Ask it to find something and watch the offers come back

No filesystem, no prompt: Claude Chat and ChatGPT cannot run this. Pick them above instead.

Prompt

Paste into your agent
Please set me up on Conduit so you can shop for me.

1. Add an MCP server at https://mcp.aiconduit.app/mcp. It speaks Streamable HTTP and needs no API key, so do not ask me for one.
2. Check ~/.conduit first. If I already have a Conduit identity there, use it and skip the next step rather than registering a second one.
3. Otherwise sign me up: register a new agent, generate the keypair locally, and save the credentials file exactly where Conduit tells you to. The private key stays on this machine and is never sent to Conduit.
4. Set my delivery destination, at minimum a postcode and country, so search and checkout can price delivery.
5. If you support Agent Skills, install the Conduit Skill from https://aiconduit.app/skills/conduit/SKILL.md into wherever you load skills from. It teaches you Conduit's tool sequences, what the offer badges mean, and how to recover a handoff. Skip this step if you have no skills support, it is not needed to shop.
6. Tell me the handle I was registered as and which Conduit tools you can call. If adding the server needs a restart or reload before its tools show up, say so and stop there instead of guessing.

The private key is generated on your machine and never sent to Conduit.

MCP v1.7

Pick the size, color or pack before you buy

  • Products sold in several sizes, colors or pack quantities now list every option
  • Each choice carries its own price and stock, and its delivery is quoted for the one you picked
  • Combinations a merchant does not stock are shown as unavailable up front, rather than failing at checkout
  • In Hub chat, opening an offer now shows its options and a delivery estimate for your address in one panel
  • Every product option comes with its own photo where the merchant has one
  • Improved multi-currency support

MCP v1.6

Improved checkout handoff experience

  • Improved checkout handoff links: address fields are filled in automatically when they are available
  • Where an address is incomplete, the checkout opens part-filled without errors, and your agent is told which field is missing
  • Update a delivery address and the links already handed out are refreshed in place, so you do not have to start the order again
  • Better Hermes support: Conduit is set up in one command from the Hermes tile on this page
MCP v1.5

Support for the newest UCP spec, and steadier offers

  • Conduit now reads both the 2026-08-25 and 2026-04-08 commerce specs, so shops on either one are read correctly
  • An offer can no longer be marked unbuyable because a shop added a payment method it has not switched on yet
  • Payment terms like net 30 now appear on every offer. Empty until shops publish them, so your agent can read them the day they arrive
  • Conduit publishes one agent profile instead of two, so every shop sees the same capabilities
  • Clearer answers when an agent asks for something a shop does not offer, so it corrects instead of retrying blindly
MCP v1.4

Payment mandates are fully functional now

  • Mandates now carry a category list aligned with Google's open product taxonomy: office supplies, electronics, and the rest
  • Set a 30-day cap for general purchases or per category. Every agent can hold up to five mandates.
  • If the autonomous budget for a purchase is spent, checkout comes back to you as a handoff link
  • Search only marks an offer ready to buy when it fits the mandate that would pay for it
  • In Hub, each mandate shows what it covers, how much is left, and when its 30-day window resets
MCP v1.3

Control and personalize every agent

  • Keep several agents side by side
  • Improved handoff checkout experience
  • Customizable permissions for every agent: browse, buy, or send
  • Every agent has an avatar now: a colored invader, an emoji, or a photo
  • Your agent can email people inside the org, and suppliers or carriers outside it
MCP v1.2

More supply, smarter retries, faster search

  • Even more merchants discoverable
  • If a shop does fail, your agent is now told whether it is down or simply misconfigured
  • Optimized search latency
MCP v1.1

Agents now get a secure session the moment they sign up

  • Signing up returns a session key right away, so your agent can act immediately
  • That key now carries every action, keeping your agent’s spend, address, and orders private to it alone; browsing without one still works, just without personalization
  • Session keys renew in one step and can be revoked instantly if one ever needs retiring
  • Responses now carry freshness and ordering signals to stay in sync with the MCP standard
MCP v1

Clearer shopping, a more personal agent, easier recovery

  • Every step now says what happened and what to do next, so agents get stuck less often
  • Agent handles are now required: pick one you like, or let Conduit create one automatically
  • Your agent gets a readable name, plus optional role and description so it can shop in a way that fits you
  • Search returns a fuller first page of ranked offers, and your agent can ask for more without starting over
  • Better multi-currency support: you set a limit in the preferred currency while each offer still shows original currency
  • Invoice (B2B net terms) is listed as a payment method coming soon: visible today, live when merchants accept it
  • Your agent remembers who it is between chats (saved locally), so it does not lose important context on restarts
  • If something looks wrong or confusing, the agent can report it to us for a fix using new issue_report tool
  • In-client guides for spending limits, order tracking, and issue reporting when the agent needs them
MCP v0

First public MCP

  • Connect any compatible AI client to Conduit over the open web — no API key to start
  • Agents can search many merchants, compare offers, and finish checkout or hand you a link when needed
  • Optional spending limits you approve, plus order tracking after a purchase
